That's another kind of activity that I was thinking might be fun. XD Maybe a mixture of both? (I'm still not bored of the first kind, though the second would definitely be fun, too!)
I think the trouble with the original poster posting a character action and expecting others to dive in (I'm just using an earlier attempt on this community as an example) is that sometimes it's not really open-ended enough to allow people to dip their toes in; if the mod/OP/storyteller lets go of that... or else is willing to leave posts on an open enough note that others could pop in without feeling like they're interrupting something. XD
